Dr. Robert Tomlinson of Fayetteville, AR, earned an MD from Tulane University before he launched a successful career as an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. His past roles include leading medical practices in Fayetteville and other Arkansas cities. In addition to his current work as the medical director of It’s a Secret Med Spa, Dr. Robert Tomlinson recently opened the Suboxone Recovery Center of Arkansas.
At this clinic, Dr. Tomlinson uses his understanding of physiology, biochemistry, and recovery medicine to provide medication-assisted treatment for people recovering from opioid addiction. His responsibilities as the medical director include overseeing the activities of staff members who provide caring and professional support throughout patients’ recovery journeys. Dr. Tomlinson and the Suboxone Recovery Center of Arkansas provide a full range of services, including Suboxone induction, compliance testing, and addiction counseling.
Outside of his work in recovery medicine, Dr. Tomlinson offers independent medical evaluations (IMEs) for complex musculoskeletal injuries. Over the course of his more than 25-year career, he has performed over 300 IMEs and earned a reputation as a thorough and expeditious member of the National Directory of Independent Medical Examiners.
